1. Purpose of SMS Notifications
Healthsted, LLC (“We,” “Us,” “Our”) provides SMS notifications to enhance the quality and coordination of homecare services. By opting in, you agree to receive messages related to:
Visit schedules and clock-in/out reminders
Urgent scheduling updates
Compliance requirements and document submissions
Invitations to training and seminars
Health and wellness education
Agency announcements, service offerings, or operational updates
Our SMS notifications are intended to support efficient service delivery and enhance communication between Healthsted, LLC and our clients, caregivers, and personnel.
2. Opt-Out Policy
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying with the word “STOP” to any message received from us. Once we receive your opt-out request, we will send a final confirmation message and stop sending SMS messages to your number.
To re-enroll, simply opt in again by contacting our office or following the original sign-up process.

4. Message Frequency & Data Rates

We recommend reviewing your wireless service agreement for details on applicable charges.
5. Mobile Carrier Disclaimer
Healthsted, LLC is not responsible for any delays or failure in the delivery of SMS messages. Your mobile carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered text messages.
6. Consent to Receive Texts & Automated Messages
By voluntarily providing your mobile number and opting into SMS notifications:
You affirm that the number belongs to you and is accurate.
You agree to receive recurring automated text messages (e.g., SMS, MMS, or similar technologies) for service delivery, care updates, reminders, offers, and Healthsted communications.
You understand that consent is not a condition of receiving services or care from Healthsted.
7. Duty to Notify Us of Number Changes
You are responsible for notifying us immediately if you change, transfer, or deactivate your mobile number. Failure to do so may result in messages being sent to unintended recipients.

8. Age & Participation Requirements
By participating in our SMS notification service, you confirm that:
You are 18 years of age or older
You own or are authorized to use the mobile device associated with the number provided
Your wireless carrier supports two-way text messaging
Not all mobile carriers support our messaging platform. Please verify with your carrier.
9. Data Use & Privacy Policy
Healthsted, LLC may collect and process data associated with SMS messaging for the purposes of:
Verifying time and attendance for Personal Care Specialists™
Coordinating client visits
Submitting caregiver hours for payroll
Submitting service logs for insurance reimbursement
Meeting internal quality control and audit standards
We do not share SMS opt-in data or consent with any third parties unless required by law or contractual obligation. Personal information will only be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable regulations.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Healthsted, LLC from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from:
Your voluntary provision of a phone number you do not own
Failure to notify us of a number change
Any third-party claims related to unauthorized message receipt
11. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
Participation in our SMS program is also governed by our Terms of Use. These include provisions that:
Require you to resolve disputes with us on an individual basis (not as part of a class or group action)
Require all claims to be settled through binding arbitration
Waive your right to a jury trial
By participating in the SMS service, you agree to these terms.
12. Modifications to This Policy
We reserve the right to update or amend these SMS Terms at any time. You will be notified of material changes through our communication channels. Continued use of the service following updates constitutes your agreement to the revised policy.
